STAR WARS: Heat of the Cold

"Look at me, I am the captain now"
Act 1, Session 3

The party boards the cockpit part of the ship and come under attack from the captain and his pirate gang crew. The boarding crew that was jettisoned out of the ship early were able to return to the airlock and also join the fight.

As they get desperate the captain tries to detach and fly away to engage hyperspace.
Some in the party stop the crew from taking off and ensure that their ship is locked in the cargo ship’s tractor beam.

Now that all the crew have either been killed or captured and the ship under control, the party searches the astrogation computer for where the ship has been regularly traveling from. The planet Taris continues to come up, explaining the strange Rakghoul poisoned weapons and stims that the pirate gangsters used.

The Party must prepare for what’s ahead as their findings will likely urge further investigation once reported back to the council.

Into the Pirate Ship
Act 1, Session 2

The party moves past the initial boarding room/airlock and into the main cargo bay of the Space Pirate ship.

They meet resistance from a heavy loader droid, a crane being operated by a mechanic at the very back in a overhead console, regular low level crew members and a small team of backup guards and their leader.

After killing all the the enemies and taking a few surrendered crew prisoner, the party moves further into the back section of the ship. They find 2 deactivated droids and a computer console. After checking the logs they can see the captain and his 6 personal crew are those left beyond the door to the control half of the ship.

Some in the party gather a bad feeling about what lies ahead next…

The crew assembles for duty.
Act 1, Session 1.

Party meets on Zoist to see the head of the sphere of a Production and Logistics. Darth Vowrawn tells them of a recently found internal leak that was giving data to pirates and sabotaging vessels. High value cargo was lost and the Empire needs to find out who is behind this.

The party is assigned to a set a trap aboard a cargo vessel using data the intelligence service have given to the unknowing pirates.

The party preps the cargo vessel and when ready activates the distress beacon after jumping out of hyperspace as set coordinators in a space void.

A Space Pirate ship attaches to the cargo doors and hacks the ships computers.

The party defends themselves from several attackers and prepares to board the pirate ship.
